ESPN Radio’s College GameDay to Kick Off 2014 Season from Atlanta

Matt Barrie Joins as Host; Brad Edwards, Trevor Matich Return as Analysts
ESPN Radio’s College GameDay will open its 2014 season from Atlanta on Saturday, Aug. 30, the site of the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game between West Virginia and Alabama. SportsCenter anchor Matt Barrie will make his debut as host this season and will be joined by analysts Brad Edwards and Trevor Matich.
ESPN Radio’s College GameDay, in its 17th season, features previews of the weekend’s upcoming games, highlights from the previous week and key interviews from the college football world. The show will air Saturdays through December 6, from noon – 7 p.m. ET most weeks, and ESPN Radio will again simulcast ESPN’s College GameDay, from 10 a.m. – noon.
In addition to the opener from Atlanta, GameDay will broadcast from Eugene, Ore., ahead of Michigan State-Oregon on September 6, and in Lincoln, Neb., in advance of the Miami-Nebraska matchup on September 20, which will air on ESPN Radio. Subsequent College GameDay stops will be announced later in the season.
College GameDay is part of ESPN Radio’s comprehensive college football coverage, which includes 30 regular-season games, and the College Football Playoff and Championship. Full Schedule
