College Lacrosse: ESPN3 Home to National Ranked Programs

ESPN3 will show three teams ranked in the top five of the Inside Lacrosse’ preseason poll this week, including a top-10 matchup pitting No. 8 Cornell at No. 4 Syracuse on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 4 p.m. Also in action is No. 5 North Carolina hosting High Point on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 4 p.m., and No. 20 Georgetown at No. 2 Notre Dame on Saturday, Feb. 14, at noon.

No. 4 Florida women faces off against Jacksonville on Wednesday, at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.

The 2015 college lacrosse season on ESPNU, ESPN3  and SEC Network + will showcase nationally-ranked programs and top-caliber games including 47 men’s and 21 women’s regular-season games, as well as the crowning of the ACC, America East and Ivy League men’s tournament champions and the Big Ten and Big South women’s tournament champions. Rachel Margolis Siegal

A part of the Internal Communications team at ESPN, I began with the network in 2010 as part of the College Sports PR team. Always an avid sports fan and not an athlete – I grew up a huge fan of the Hartford Whalers, while also watching my brother compete at different levels. I became the manager of several high school sports teams and continued that hobby into college. While at Quinnipiac, I worked in the Sports Information Department, which led me to a summer internship at the New Haven Ravens, a AA baseball team, and an eventual job with the Athletic Communications Department at the University of Connecticut. After my five-year stint at Connecticut, I spent six years as Director of Communications at the BIG EAST Conference in Providence, R.I. before joining ESPN.
