• Weekly Show to Feature Coaches, Players and Guests

ESPNU’s Katz Korner will return for its fifth season, debuting Thursday, Jan. 26, at noon ET. The hour-long weekly show, hosted by ESPN basketball reporter Andy Katz, will look at the latest news and trends in college basketball and conduct interviews with coaches, players and special guests throughout the remainder of the regular season. The show will typically air every Thursday at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.

This week’s debut episode will have interviews with head coaches Bill Self (No. 2 Kansas) and John Calipari (No. 4 Kentucky) in advance of their matchup on Saturday (6:15 p.m., ESPN). Katz will also be joined by college basketball analysts Dick Vitale and Dino Gaudio.

Other weekly elements:

• Journey to the Tourney: Bracketologist Joe Lunardi discusses his NCAA Championship projections and provides a report on mid-major programs
• Wooden Award: Updates on the top players around the nation who are vying for the College Basketball Player of the Year award

SEC/Big 12 Challenge features No. 2 at Kansas at No. 4 Kentucky
No. 2 Kansas faces No. 4 Kentucky on Saturday, Jan. 28 (6:15 p.m., ESPN) as part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. College Gameday – hosted by Rece Davis with analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams – travels to Lexington this weekend ahead of Saturday’s matchup, airing at 11 a.m. on ESPN and an evening edition at 6 p.m. prior to the game.
