January 20 Marks Opening Weekend for Seven-Week Saturday Morning and Evening Program

ESPN’s College GameDay Covered by State Farm is headed to Lexington, Ky., on Saturday, Jan. 20, for the first show of 2018 in advance of the Saturday Primetime presented by AT&T as No. 21 Kentucky faces Florida (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN). The morning show will be live from Rupp Arena, beginning at 11 a.m. on ESPN, followed by an evening edition leading into the game telecast.

College GameDay Covered by State Farm is hosted by Rece Davis, who is joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams. Dan Shulman, Bilas and reporter Maria Taylor will have the call of the SEC matchup featuring Florida and Kentucky.

This is GameDay’s seventh visit to Kentucky, tying Duke and Kansas for most visits by the traveling college basketball studio show.

For the fourth straight season, the College GameDay site will be announced one-week prior to the show, ensuring visits to sites of top storylines and games appearing on ESPN networks each week.

Anna Negron

It was always a dream of mine to work at ESPN, and here I am! I joined the College Sports PR team in March 2016. Hailing from the great Garden State, I graduated from Seton Hall University (Go Pirates!) with a degree in sport management, where I not only sang the National Anthem at games, but was also a member of the Seton Hall Sapphires Dance Team and a student reporter for Pirate Sports Network. Before joining ESPN, I served as a Public Relations Associate for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
