Michelle Beisner-Buck joined ESPN as a NFL features reporter in 2014. After two seasons with Sunday NFL Countdown, her player profiles and other NFL feature stories now appear on both Sunday NFL Countdown and on Monday Night Countdown.

Beisner-Buck is a memorable storyteller with a vast portfolio of features. From Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, to Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, to Texans defensive ends Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter; a touching portrait (and follow-up) on former Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still and his daughter Leah as she battled Stage 4 Neuroblastoma; a piece on late-NFL head coach Marty Schottenheimer, who was battling Alzheimers Disease, and a powerful follow up in 2026 with Brian Schottenheimer following Marty’s death; a touching piece “Dear Pops,” which featured the relationship 49ers tight end George Kittle has with his father and an exclusive sit down with Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby on his journey to sobriety.

Beisner-Buck has also done light-hearted features on the Seahawks wide receivers group on their choreographed end-zone celebrations; “Here Comes Deebo,” which explored how 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel got his nickname and included rap superstar Ice Cube; and Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp and how he learned how to “toe-tap the sidelines” at home with his father; and “Meet the Mayfields” where Beisner-Buck sat down with Emily and Baker Mayfield, discussing their love story, and their journey through the NFL.

One of her most notable pieces was her feature on former Chargers public relations director Bill Johnston and his wife Ramona, for which she earned The Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s Guthrie Award in 2018.

Prior to ESPN, Beisner-Buck worked as a studio host and field reporter for NFL Network from 2006-14. She appeared on a variety of programs and specials including Game Day First, Game Day Morning, NFL Total Access and NFL Fantasy Live.

During her many years of field reporting, she secured interviews with players and coaches such as JJ Watt, Tony Romo, Russell Wilson, Mike Shanahan, Pete Carroll, Mike Tomlin, Peyton Manning, Ray Lewis, John Elway, Adrian Peterson, to name a few. In 2013, Beisner-Buck’s features included the exclusive sit-down interview with Denver Broncos head coach John Fox upon his return from successful aortic valve replacement surgery.

Beisner-Buck previously appeared on ESPN as co-host of “The Russo and Steele Automotive Auctions” and as a pit reporter for the Champ Car World Series. She has also worked in various reporting capacities and hosting roles for Fox Sports, CBS, NBC, Speed Channel, and other networks.

Before working in television, Beisner-Buck trained as an actor and dancer. She was a member of The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders from 1997-2003. Five of her six years with The Broncos Cheerleaders, Beisner-Buck was a captain, and in 1999, she was the Pro Bowl representative.

Beisner-Buck is married to ESPN lead play-by-play announcer Joe Buck. The couple live in the St. Louis area with their two sons, Blake and Wyatt.
