ESPN’s College GameDay Covered by State Farm heads back to its roots – the site of the first-ever show in 2005 – the campus of the University of Connecticut on Saturday, Feb. 25 (10 a.m., ESPNU & ESPN 3D; 11 a.m. & 8 p.m., ESPN & ESPN 3D).

The weekly show originates from the site of ESPN’s Saturday Primetime Presented by DIRECTV telecast – BIG EAST rivals No. 2 Syracuse at Connecticut (9 p.m. on ESPN, ESPN3 & ESPN 3D). Rece Davis serves as the College GameDay host, and is joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Digger Phelps and Hubert Davis. Dan Shulman, Dick Vitale and Erin Andrews will call the prime-time telecast.

This week’s College GameDay feature focuses on Gettysburg guard Corey Weissman, who overcame a stroke in March 2009 while at school. ESPN reporter Greg Garber speaks with the senior about his triumphant return. Also, look for your favorite Huskies – junior forward Alex Oriakhi and sophomore guard Jeremy Lamb – in “Know Your Teammate.”

The past, present and future of college basketball all have a home on ESPNU this week when the “Home Court of College Hoops” takes you on-and-off the court.

Wednesday (5:30 p.m.) – College Basketball Featured reairs entertaining and eye-opening features from across ESPN platforms that are worth a second look. This week, ESPNU goes back inside the Maryland basketball program; learns about the Syracuse 2-3 zone with the “Knight Watch” series and also investigates the growing pains of the Binghamton men’s basketball team that made the jump to Division I eight years ago and, until this week, was the only winless program in the nation.

Wednesday (6:30 p.m.) – Each week College Basketball WhipAround takes fans coast-to-coast as host Anish Shroff tips off to ESPN reporters at a slew of basketball courts around the nation. Before the first ball is dribbled at 7 p.m. across ESPN networks, Shroff brings you news from as far north as Indiana, down south in Texas and out west in California. A look at ESPN’s Wednesday night basketball schedule.

Friday (5 p.m.) – Back to School: Bob Knight puts viewers in the passenger seat with the Hall of Fame coach as he visits his home town of Orrville, Ohio. Knight shares personal memories, visits old friends for dinner and puts unsuspecting basketball players at his alma mater, Orrville High School, through an intense, yet entertaining lesson on motion offense.

As the men’s basketball regular season nears an end, ESPN’s Judgment Week continues through Sunday, Feb. 26 and features numerous teams making a push to get into the NCAA Championship or improve their seeding. Samples of games:

After a shift in the top 10 of the weekly ESPN/USA Today Coaches’ Poll, seven ranked women’s basketball teams will appear across ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3 as the regular season schedule comes to a close:

• No. 7 Duke hosts No. 5 Miami in an ESPN3 exclusive game Friday (7 p.m.) and then travels to North Carolina on Sunday (3 p.m., ESPN2 & ESPN3)

• Ranked SEC teams are in action on ESPNU Sunday
– No. 10 Kentucky at Mississippi State (1:30 p.m.) and Florida at No. 9 Tennessee (3:30 p.m.), along with LSU at No. 16 Georgia (5 p.m., ESPN2 & ESPN3)

• The final Big Monday Presented by Bud Light telecasts on ESPN2 & ESPN3 – No. 1 Baylor at No. 11 Texas A&M (7 p.m.) and No. 3 Notre Dame at No. 4 Connecticut (9 p.m.)

No. 1 Virginia and No. 2 Johns Hopkins men’s lacrosse teams battle unranked opponents this week on ESPNU and ESPN3:

• Second-ranked John Hopkins plays at home on ESPNU vs. Siena on Saturday (3 p.m.)

• No. 1 Virginia hosts Stony Brook in an ESPN3 exclusive game on Saturday (noon)

• Also on ESPN3, No. 7 Maryland travels to Georgetown on Friday (7 p.m.)
