Texas Baseball, Softball and Spring Football on Slate for Longhorn Network; Live Coverage from the 2012 Texas Relays Begins March 28
Longhorn Network’s lineup this week will feature a variety of live UT sports events, including several games with the No. 25 Texas baseball and No. 6 Texas softball teams. In addition, football fans will get an exclusive preview of the 2012 team with live football practices and the annual Orange-White scrimmage on Sunday, April 1.
LHN will air 14 original hours of content from the 85th Annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. The relays will be held Wed., March 28, through Sat., March 31, at Mike A. Myers Stadium with 200 university and college teams represented. Nine former Texas track & field stars are expected to compete. Among the names probable are Alexandria Anderson, Nicole Denby, Trey Hardee, Jacob Hernandez, Andra Manson, Leonel Manzano, Raasin McIntosh, Kyle Miller and Sanya Richards-Ross. Action covered will include the heptathlon and decathlon, various field events, long distance races, hurdles, 4×800 meter relay, 4×100 meter relay, 4×400 meter relay, 100-meter dash, and the distance medley relay.
