Greeny’s Wife named as Judge #3; Anderson & Golic to Call the Action

ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning co-host Mike Greenberg (@espngreeny) will pay up for losing the annual “Mike and Mike Sheets of Integrity Challenge” to Mike Golic (@MikeAndMike) on Tuesday, May 8 when he will perform with Dancing with the Stars’ Anna Trebunskaya (@atrebunskaya).
Greeny’s potentially embarrassing moment will take place at 8:15 a.m. ET (entire show simulcast on ESPN2) when he will attempt to keep pace with the Russian-born professional dancer. The duo will dance to “Livin’ la Vida Loca” played live by an eight-piece band at ESPN’s Bristol, Conn. headquarters. The band will be anchored by John Colby, the writer and producer of ESPN’s SportsCenter theme.
Simulating ABC’s Dancing with the Stars (Mondays and Tuesdays on ABC), “Greeny: The Dance” will take place before a live audience and feature three judges on-site: Greeny’s wife, Stacy Greenberg (@StacyGSG), former DWTS contestants Hines Ward (@mvp86hinesward) and Jerry Rice (@JerryRice), who partnered with Trebunskaya in DWTS Season 2, finishing second.
Golic and SportsCenter anchor and ABC’s Wipeout host John Anderson will serve as play-by-play announcers for the dance, bringing the ESPN Radio and ESPN2 audiences into ESPN’s temporary ballroom at its brand new Kids Center.
Trebunskaya, a native of Chelyabinsk, Russia, is a DWTS regular, most recently paired with soap opera star Jack Wagner this season.
