The network’s team of analysts will be enriched with former player’s experience

July 20, 2012

Tomas Boy, former Mexican soccer player and manager joins ESPN Deportes as soccer analyst. The soccer star will bring his experience on the field to the debate and analysis of Futbol Picante and Los Capitanes.

“Tomas Boy’s experience as a former player and coach will allow us to offer a new perspective in our analysis,” said Armando Benitez, Senior Director of Production for ESPN Deportes and International. “We are pleased to announce his addition to our team of experts.”

Boy has extensive experience in soccer as a former player for First Division teams, having debuted in Spanish Atletico (Necaxa) and later ranking as the team’s top scorer with Tigres UANL. His most recent coaching experience was leading Monarcas Morelia.
