NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Live from Michigan on ESPN

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will be at the 2-mile Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Mich., for the Pure Michigan 400 on Sunday, Aug. 19, and  ESPN will have a live telecast. NASCAR Countdown airs at noon ET with the race’s green flag at 1:16 p.m. All NASCAR programming on ESPN and ESPN2 is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets with the WatchESPN app and WatchESPN.com.

NASCAR Nationwide Series Road Racing in Canada

The NASCAR Nationwide Series makes its annual stop in Canada for an event at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal on Saturday, Aug. 18, and the race will air live on ESPN. NASCAR Countdown is at 2 p.m. ET with the race’s green flag at 2:48 p.m.  All NASCAR programming on ESPN2 is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets with the WatchESPN app and WatchESPN.com.

NHRA Brainerd Action on ESPN2, ESPN3

The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series returns to action this weekend with the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in Brainerd, Minn., and drag racing fans can watch action on ESPN2 and ESPN3. All NHRA programming on is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets through WatchESPN and the WatchESPN app.

American Le Mans Series on ESPN2, ESPN3 from Road America

The American Le Mans Series races this weekend at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and racing fans can watch the Saturday, Aug. 18, four-hour sports car endurance race on both ESPN2 and ESPN3. The live ESPN3 coverage begins Saturday at 3:15 p.m. ET, while ESPN2 will air highlights on Sunday, Aug. 19, at 2 p.m.  

ESPN3, ESPN’s multi-screen live sports network, also will air qualifying for the event on Friday, Aug. 17, at 4:40 p.m. All ALMS programming on ESPN2 and ESPN3 is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets with the WatchESPN app and WatchESPN.com.

 

NASCAR Now Schedule

ESPN2’s daily NASCAR news and information program NASCAR Now will preview the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Michigan International Speedway in the one-hour weekend edition that airs Sunday, Aug. 19, at 9 a.m. Host Lindsay Czarniak will be joined from the track by ESPN NASCAR analyst Brad Daugherty and reporters Marty Smith and Ryan McGee.
