Supercopa 2012 on ESPN Deportes, ESPN3 and ESPN Deportes Radio
Historic rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona will face each other in the two-legged event
ESPN Deportes, ESPN3 and ESPN Deportes Radio present LIVE coverage of Supercopa 2012. The anticipated two-legged Spanish match-up will feature two consecutive Clasico matches – FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid, Thursday, August 23 at 4 p.m ET from Camp Nou in Barcelona, and Wednesday, August 29 at 4 p.m. ET from Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid.
PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS:
ESPN Deportes
- Los Capitanes (Thurs. 8/23 and Wed. 8/29 at 2 pm ET) – The network’s commentary program will feature special show for both Supercopa matches.
- Fuera de Juego (Thurs. 8/23 and Wed. 8/29 at 3 pm ET) – The network’s international soccer program will offer special live coverage by soccer experts Fernando Palomo, Mario Kempes, Ricardo Ortiz and Andrés Agulla. Tato Noriega to join for second leg in Madrid.
- Supercopa LIVE Match (Thurs. 8/23 and Wed. 8/29 at 4:25 pm ET) – The LIVE telecast of the matches will feature play-by-play by Jorge Ramos and commentary by Hernan Pereyra.
- Fuera de Juego (Thurs. 8/23 and Wed. 8/29 at 6:30 pm ET) – Providing a special 90-minute live postgame show.
ESPN3
ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network will carry Supercopa 2012 live and on a replay, in Spanish. ESPN3 is available in 73 million households nationwide at no additional cost to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated service provider.
