ESPN Launches ESPN Deportes+ por ESPN3 Today
New digital destination to offer over 200 live sports events in Spanish through ESPN3 player on ESPNdeportes.com
ESPN launches ESPN Deportes+ por ESPN3, a new programming extension of ESPN Deportes and ESPN3 dedicated to serving sports fans with live events in Spanish-language housed under a single digital destination. At launch, it is slated to carry over 200 exclusive, live sports events via a branded and easily accessible ESPN3 player on ESPNdeportes.com. The player goes live today with a full schedule of live World Cup Qualifiers.
In the future, ESPN Deportes+ por ESPN3 will be featured as a channel on ESPN3, making it accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and through ESPN on Xbox LIVE, reaching a total of approximately 7.7 million Hispanic households across all platforms.
“ESPN Deportes+ por ESPN3 is a great digital expansion that further positions the ESPN Deportes brand as the Spanish-language sports destination for fans, on the best available screen,” said Lino Garcia. “It will serve as an extension of ESPN Deportes television, allowing us to showcase live programming that is relevant to our Hispanic audience, and in their own language.”

Fans who receive their Internet or video subscription from an affiliated provider will have access to ESPN Deportes+ por ESPN3 at no additional cost. The programming lineup of live and exclusive events includes:
- Soccer – World Cup Qualifiers, International friendlies, Dutch League, Brasilerao, Portuguese League, NexGen Series
- College sports – Pac-12 football and basketball games
- Baseball – Dominican Baseball League and MLB
- Tennis – coverage of the Four Slams- Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open
- Global X Games – live coverage of all six events
