ESPN The Magazine Unveils 5th Anniversary Body Issue Portfolio 2009-2013

–Retrospective Pub Celebrates Athletes Who Have Bared It All for The Mag—

True to form, ESPN The Magazine is celebrating the fifth birthday of its wildly popular “Body Issue” with five years’ worth of “Body” athletes rocking only their birthday suits.

The special “5^th Anniversary Body Issue Portfolio 2009-2013” is a photographic homage to the hundreds of past athletes who have bared it all to showcase the vast potential of the athletic form, ranging from soccer superstar Hope Solo to professional golfer Gary Player, who in 2013, at 77, became the oldest “Body” athlete to date.

MMA star Ronda Rousey, who originally appeared as one of six special “Body Issue” covers in 2012, graces the cover of the 96-page special interest publication (SIP), which hits newsstands Tuesday, September 24 and is available for three months, through December 24.  The issue, like all past “Body Issue” editions, features diverse talents from all corners of the sports world.
