Multi-Year Agreement for Exclusive Domestic Television Rights Begin in 2014

ESPN and Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) International have reached an agreement for the exclusive domestic television rights beginning in 2014. The multi-year agreement includes 11 recap programs annually of the WCT men’s tour and will integrate highlights from the women’s competitions as well.

As the governing body of professional surfing, the ASP has been crowning surfing’s undisputed world champions since 1976. This marks the first television agreement in the history of professional surfing.
