2014 FIBA World Championship for Women: Quarterfinal Action Continues on ESPN3; Title Game Sunday on ESPN2

The quarterfinals of the 2014 FIBA World Championship for Women continues on ESPN3 on Friday, Oct. 3, including the U.S. Team against France at 2:15 p.m. from Istanbul, Turkey. The U.S. Team recently fell to France in an exhibition game on September 21, the first loss by the Americans in an international game since falling to a team from the Czech Republic in 2011 when the U.S. was on a European tour. The U.S. team won all three group phase games: 94-74 victory over Serbia; 87-56 win over China and 119-44 over Angola.

Michael Bett and Jeff Taylor will pair for the single-elimination rounds. Women’s basketball analyst Rebecca Lobo will provide analysis for the title game on ESPN2 with play-by-play commentator Pam Ward on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m.
