Collaboration with Shaun White Enterprises to Enhance World of X Games Programming
ESPN will collaborate with Air + Style, one of the longest-running and most iconic snowboard competitions, to televise one-hour recap shows from each of the three Air + Style events as part of the World of X Games series. Air + Style on World of X Games will premiere with a recap of the Beijing event, which took place Dec. 5-6, airing on Sunday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
The Air + Style 2014/15 season will consist of events in Beijing (Dec. 5-6), Innsbruck (Jan. 16-17) and Los Angeles (Feb. 21-22). World of X Games will bring each Air + Style event to fans through live coverage on ESPN3 as well as recap shows during regular World of X Games programming windows. The Air + Style Beijing and Innsbruck event recaps are scheduled to air on ESPN2. For the first time in event history, the Air + Style Los Angeles event will showcase freeskiers alongside snowboarders. The Los Angeles recap show will air on ABC. Event recap shows will feature competition coverage, interviews and more. Innsbruck and Los Angeles show dates will be announced at a later date.
The content collaboration with Air + Style, hosted and staged by Shaun White Enterprises, will provide event content enhancing the diverse lineup of action sports programming offered by World of X Games and will lay the foundation for future collaborations between ESPN and Shaun White Enterprises.
