Coverage of 2015 Texas Relays Begins March 25
Longhorn Network (LHN), the 24-hour channel devoted to The University of Texas, will air the 2015 Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays for the fourth year beginning Wednesday, March 25 at 6pm CT. Texas Track and Field will host top athletes from across the state of Texas, the nation and the world. During the four-day meet, LHN will air a total of 15 hours of Texas Relays coverage.
ESPN’s Paul Sunderland will provide play-by-play throughout the meet, and former NCAA All-American athlete and radio host Sean Adams will serve as sideline reporter. Emmy Award-winning track and field sportscaster Larry Rawson and Olympian Dwight Stones will serve as analysts.
Texas track and field athletes have performed well in indoor meets this year, with both the men and women winning Big 12 Indoor Champions titles and finishing sixth at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. Notable UT contenders include Kaitlin Petrillose who broke the collegiate record for pole-vaulting last year to win her first NCAA title for the Longhorns; Ryan Crouser who has won three straight NCAA titles and is ranked No. 3 in the world, will be competing in Shot Put; and Craig Lutz, ranked No. 5, will be competing in the Men’s 5000m.
