This week, the NFL released the results of an investigation into whether the New England Patriots deliberately deflated footballs during the AFC Championship game in January against the Indianapolis Colts. The 243-page Wells Report, named for Ted Wells, the league-appointed attorney who conducted the investigation, found it “more probable than not” that two Patriots employees executed the plan, and that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was “at least generally aware” that team personnel were violating rules. OTL’s Bob Ley leads a discussion of the latest on “Deflategate,” a story that continues to build and could have major implications for Brady and the Patriots.

PREVIEW

One of the most poignant moments from this year’s Boston marathon was when Rebekah Gregory, a victim of the 2013 marathon bombing, collapsed in gratitude at the finish line after running a small portion of the race with her newly acquired prosthetic leg.  Following 17 surgeries and an elective amputation, Rebekah returned to the race to show her determination and courage and to set an example for her young son, Noah, whose body she shielded from injury the day of the bombing. On this Mother’s Day, SC Featured celebrates all mothers with this story of resiliency, love and triumph in the most trying of circumstances. Tom Rinaldi has the story.

PREVIEW

With the countdown before the 2015 Pan American Games at only two months, ESPN Deportes’ Reportajes Especiales introduces viewers to Mexican rower Patrick Loliger and his quest for the gold.

“From the first day I started rowing, what I liked the most was nature. The moment you start rowing, all you hear are the birds, the water… In such a chaotic city, with so much traffic and noise, I loved it.” – Patrick Loliger

“Every day I train with that goal in mind, but I feel you first have to have the dream.” – Loliger
