E:60 to Launch Five-Week Run of Original Storytelling This Fall

New Line-up Features Exclusive NFL Profiles, Investigative Reporting and More

The most decorated show in sports television is back.

After winning a record number of awards in 2015, including three Sports Emmys, an Edward R. Murrow Award, a Television Academy Honor and the RFK Award for Journalism, E:60 returns for its fall season on Wednesday, October 7th on ESPN at 8pm ET.

For five weeks ESPN’s primetime newsmagazine, will present the best stories in sports through its unique blend of profiles, investigative reports, and human interest features. The exclusive profiles on tap will include some of football’s biggest stars: Houston Texans All-Pro J.J. Watt, Super Bowl hero Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots, reigning NFC sack leader Connor Barwin of the Philadelphia Eagles, and Aaron Rodgers’ top target on the Green Bay Packers, Randall Cobb. The season will also have a rare, inside look at the champions of one of the richest, and newest, competitions in sports – ESports video-gaming. This summer The Evil Geniuses, winners of the International Dota 2 Championship, took home a prize purse of $6.6 million.
