Men’s College Basketball: Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic Headlines Holiday Weekend Schedule
The annual Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic – a field that consists of No. 3 Oklahoma and Northern Iowa, which stunned then-No. 5 Iowa State on Dec. 19 – headlines ESPN’s men’s college basketball coverage this week. The Diamond Head Classic quarterfinal rounds (Dec. 23) through the title game (Dec. 25) can be seen across ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3.
Additional highlights:
- 16 Louisville hosts Utah Valley on Wednesday, Dec. 30, on ESPNU at 7 p.m.
- An ESPNU doubleheader Monday, Dec. 28, beginning at 6 p.m. showcases No. 7 North Carolina at home against UNC Greensboro, followed by No. 15 Duke hosting Elon.
- A Tuesday, Dec. 29, ESPN2 doubleheader pits No. 22 Cincinnati against Temple at 3 p.m., followed by No. 18 SMU at Tulsa.
- Also on Tuesday, No. 23 Baylor hosts Texas-Southern at 3 p.m. and at 9 p.m. No. 2 Kansas will host UC Irvine — both on ESPNU.
