ESPN Digital Media Collects 104 Million Unique Fans Worldwide in April

Global scale: 104.1 million total unique global visitors, 1.0 billion visits, 6.7 billion minutes, 465 million digital video clips;
In the U.S.: 26th straight month at No. 1 for monthly unique users, total minutes and visits, Top 2 U.S. sports apps.

Thanks to a wide-ranging mix of sports rights around the world – including the start of the MLB regular season, the Men’s and Women’s NCAA Tournament Championships, cricket’s Indian Premier League and ICC World Twenty20, and the NBA Playoffs – ESPN Digital Media reached 104.1 million global unique visitors in April.

ESPN was the most-trafficked sports property in the world for the month, racking up 1.0 billion visits and 6.7 billion minutes of usage, which was +54 percent and +39 percent more, respectively, than the No. 2 sports property (Yahoo Sports/NBC Sports Network). Also, ESPN accounted for 14 percent of all time spent on digital platforms in the global sports category, 39 percent more than the No. 2 property (Yahoo Sports/NBC Sports Network).

In the U.S., April was the 26th consecutive month in which ESPN led the U.S. digital sports category for monthly unique visitors, total minutes and visits. Other results from the April comScore U.S. Multi-Platform report include:
