The 2017-2018 GEICO ESPN High School Basketball Showcase continues this weekend with five games from the Spalding Hoophall Classic on ESPN and ESPNU in Springfield, Mass. The weekend kicks off with Chino Hills (Calif.) vs. Spartanburg Day on Saturday, Jan. 13., at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. Monday’s slate of the remaining four games will air in its entirety on ESPNU beginning at 11 a.m. with John Carroll (Md.). vs. Hudson Catholic (N.J.). The No. 2 vs. No. 3 matchup of Oak Hill (Va.) vs. University School (Fla.) will air at 3 p.m. All games will be called by national recruiting director and analyst Paul Biancardi and play-by-play commentator Ted Emrich.
The Spalding Hoophall Classic as part of GEICO ESPN High School Basketball Showcase will feature 15 players from the ESPN 100 (’18), including the nation’s top three recruits No. 1 R.J. Barrett, No. 2 Zion Williamson, and No. 3 Cam Reddish. Barrett and Reddish have already committed to Duke University. In addition, the showcase will include seven players from the ESPN 60 (’19) and No. 13 Noah Farrakhan and No. 26 Scottie Barnes from the ESPN 25 (’20).
