ESPN’s College GameDay Covered by State Farm will originate from Charlottesville, Va., on Saturday, Feb. 10, ahead of an in-state rivalry and ACC matchup between Virginia Tech and No. 2 Virginia (6:15 p.m., ESPN), during Rivalry Week presented by Wendy’s. The morning show will be live from John Paul Jones Arena, beginning at 11 a.m. on ESPN, followed by an evening edition leading into the game telecast.
Rece Davis hosts College GameDay Covered by State Farm, with analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams. Dan Shulman, Bilas and reporter Maria Taylor will have the call of the Saturday Primetime presented by AT&T matchup.
This show marks GameDay’s third visit to Charlottesville, and will feature the Cavaliers for the fourth straight season. This is Virginia Tech’s second appearance on GameDay – their first was in 2011 while Greenberg was head coach, when the Hokies hosted and defeated then-No. 1 Duke.
A special edition of GameDay will also air ahead of another Rivalry Week matchup, as No. 4 Duke visits No. 19 UNC on Thursday, Feb. 8. The show begins at 7 p.m., with the game tipping off at 8 p.m., both on ESPN.
The College GameDay site will be announced one-week prior to the show, ensuring visits to sites of top storylines and games appearing on ESPN networks each week.
