After a successful inaugural year in 2017, X Games returns to Minneapolis with the world’s top action sports competition in Skateboard, BMX and Moto, and world-class musical performances from Kaskade, Brother Ali, Ice Cube and Zedd (in order of appearance). The action sports competitions will take place at U.S. Bank Stadium, while all four musical performances will take place at the GEICO music stage at the Commons Park, located just outside U.S. Bank Stadium.
Tickets will start at $20 for general admission and $50 for three-day passes. Multi-day admission, several levels of hospitality, suites and travel packages are also available for purchase. For an up close and personal experience, limited floor access will be made available, offering guests an opportunity to get as close to the action as the athletes without actually competing. Once again, the Skateboard and BMX Vert events on Thursday, July 19, will be free and open to the public. X Fest will also be free to the public on Thursday, beginning at 6 p.m.
Medalists from X Games Minneapolis 2017 who have sport disciplines returning in 2018 will receive an early invite to compete in the X Games Minneapolis 2018 event.

- Brother Ali – Over the past 17 years, Brother Ali has earned wide critical acclaim for his deeply personal, socially conscious, and inspiring brand of hip-hop. Under Rhymesayers Entertainment, he’s unleashed a series of lauded projects, establishing himself as one of the most respected independent voices in music. The latest chapter in that celebrated journey is All the Beauty in This Whole Life, a 15-track collection produced entirely by Atmosphere’s Anthony “Ant” Davis.
- Ice Cube – Actor, writer, producer, director, rapper – reigning renaissance king could be a good term to describe the one and only Ice Cube. Coming of age in 1980s Los Angeles, Cube was at the forefront of hip-hop’s expansion from local sound to global phenomenon. Twenty-seven years after N.W.A – the group Cube co-founded with Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, MC Ren and DJ Yella – released their archetypal gangsta rap masterpiece Straight Outta Compton (Ruthless/Priority, 1989), the group’s 2016 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, with an introductory speech by their spiritual heir Kendrick Lamar, is a mark of how far Cube has come. - Zedd– Born in Russia and raised in Germany, Zedd first gained acclaim with the release of his debut album, Clarity, after signing with Interscope Records in 2012. The album’s title track shot to number two on Top 40, nabbed a Grammy Award and sold 2.6 million copies. True Colors (2015), the follow-up to Clarity, debuted at number four on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, number one on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart, and in the Top 10 in eight countries worldwide. True Colors also earned Zedd a 2016 Billboard Music Award for “Best Dance Album.” In 2016, Zedd teamed up Hailee Steinfeld and Grey on “Starving”, which broke the top 10 on Top 40 Radio and racked up over 240 million plays on Spotify in just four months.
