Day Six at Wimbledon marks the end of the third round Saturday, July 6, and ESPN will present 10 hours of coverage starting at 7 a.m. ET with a one-hour Breakfast at Wimbledon. ESPN’s matches are highlighted by #11 Serena Williams vs. #18 Julia Goerges on Court 1 plus #3 Rafael Nadal vs. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga sandwiched on Centre Court by matches beforehand with #1 Ash Barty facing Harriett Dart and afterward when #2 Roger Federer plays Lucas Pouille. Also, American #9 Sloane Stephens faces Britain’s #19 Johanna Konta.
On ESPN+, two-time Wimbledon champ #6 Petra Kvitova playing Magda Linette will headline the matches starting at 6 a.m. Other matches will include #8 Kei Nishikori vs. American Steve Johnson, #4 Kiki Bertens vs. Barbora Strycova and American Alison Riske vs. #13 Belinda Bencic.
On Saturday, ESPN+ will also present notable doubles teams in action:
- Coco Gauff in mixed doubles with Brit Jay Clarke vs. Robert Lindstedt and Jelena Ostapenko.
- Andy Murray teams with Pierre-Hugues Herbert in Gentlemen’s doubles
- The legendary American brothers Bob and Mike Bryan vs. Marcelo Arevalo and Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela
- In addition, although not currently slated for a time and court, the Mixed doubles team of Serena Williams and Murray will be seen on ESPN+.
ESPN is presenting all the Wimbledon action exclusively in the U.S. with ESPN, ESPN+ and ESPN3. Overall, ESPN+ will stream live matches from 16 courts: 2-12 and 14-18.
ESPN & Wimbledon
As in 2018, every match from the 18 courts at the All England Lawn Tennis Club will be played in front of cameras. ESPN’s coverage – first ball to last ball – includes 145 hours on television plus more than 500 matches all available for fans between ESPN+ and ESPN3 on the ESPN app. The action will climax with the Ladies’ Championship and the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s Doubles Championships on ESPN on Saturday, July 13, and the Gentlemen’s Championship on Sunday, July 14, followed by the Mixed Doubles Championship.
