Motorsports This Week on ESPN

NASCAR Nationwide Series at Kentucky on ESPN2; Edwards Returns to Booth          

The NASCAR Nationwide Series races this weekend at Kentucky Speedway near Cincinnati and the race airs live in prime time on ESPN2 on Friday night, June 29. NASCAR Countdown airs at 7 p.m. ET with the race’s green flag at 7:45 p.m.  All NASCAR programming on ESPN2 is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets with the WatchESPN app and WatchESPN.com.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Carl Edwards will help call the race as an analyst, his second of two scheduled races in the booth this year for ESPN. Details HERE.

NASCAR Now Schedule

ESPN2’s daily NASCAR news and information program NASCAR Now will preview of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway in the one-hour weekend edition airing Saturday, June 30, at noon ET. Lindsay Czarniak will host, joined from the track by analyst Andy Petree and reporters Marty Smith and Shannon Spake.

NHRA Chicago Action on ESPN2, ESPN3

The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series will compete in the Chicago area this weekend in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 NHRA Nationals and drag racing fans can watch action from Route 66 Raceway on both ESPN2 and ESPN3. All NHRA programming on ESPN2 and ESPN3 is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets through WatchESPN and the WatchESPN app.
