The eighth annual Maggie Dixon Classic – a doubleheader honoring the life of the late Army women’s basketball coach, who died April 2006 of a heart arrhythmia – will be played Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Dec. 22. Top-ranked Connecticut will face No. 21 California at 1:30 p.m. on ESPN, following Texas A&M vs. St. John’s at 11 a.m. on ESPNU.
ESPN3 will show two games from the FGCU Classic: St. Francis (Pa.) at Florida Gulf Coast on Friday, Dec. 20, and Virginia at Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday, Dec. 21 – both at 7:05 p.m. No. 12 LSU travels to NC State on Friday for a 7 p.m. tilt on ESPN3.
