Sunday NFL Countdown: Annie Apple’s Debut; “Countdown Cam” with Redskins’ Pierre Garcon
Chris Berman, in his 32nd season quarterbacking ESPN’s signature NFL pregame show, will host Sunday NFL Countdown with analysts Trent Dilfer, Matt Hasselbeck, Randy Moss and Charles Woodson as they preview week 2 in the NFL on September 18 at 11 a.m. Additionally, Wendi Nix will host segments, NFL Insider Adam Schefter will have the latest league news and senior fantasy sports analyst Matthew Berry will share his insights on the day’s matchups and on the active/inactive players as they are announced.
Sunday’s “Countdown Cam” – a new, recurring segment featuring a behind-the-scene look at one NFL player preparing for an early afternoon game – will feature Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon ahead of the game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Sunday NFL Countdown is preceded by NFL Insiders: Sunday Edition (10 a.m., ESPN) with host Trey Wingo, Mark Dominik (filling in for Chris Mortensen), Louis Riddick and Schefter.

Jay Cutler and the Bears Host Carson Wentz and the Eagles on ESPN’s Monday Night Football
Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears host rookie Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles on ESPN’s Monday Night Football on September 19 at 8:15 p.m. ET. Sean McDonough will call the game from Solider Field in Chicago with analyst and Super Bowl-winning head coach Jon Gruden, who met with Wentz during the seventh season of Gruden’s QB Camp. Lisa Salters and ESPN Deportes’ John Sutcliffe will report from the sidelines. Eagles-Bears will also be available in Spanish on ESPN Deportes and streamed live on WatchESPN for fans with video subscriptions from affiliated providers.
Preceding the game, Suzy Kolber will host Monday Night Countdown (6-8:15 p.m., ESPN) from Chicago with analysts Trent Dilfer, Matt Hasselbeck, Randy Moss, Charles Woodson and Steve Young. Chris Berman and Adam Schefter will also add to the show from ESPN’s studios in Bristol, Conn. Michelle Beisner-Buck will report her Monday Night Countdown’s feature from site.
In Bristol, Chris Berman will be joined by a NFL legend each Monday to preview that night’s Monday Night Football game on Monday Night Countdown. Berman and the legend will be featured throughout the two-hour program. Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Ditka, who led the Chicago Bears to victory in Super Bowl XX, will be the first guest in the series this Monday. Other Countdown highlights:

ESPN Radio Continues 2016 NFL Sunday Schedule with Doubleheader
ESPN Radio continues its weekly 2016 Sunday NFL schedule Sunday, Sept. 18, with a doubleheader — Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots at noon, followed by Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos at 4 p.m. Marc Kestecher and analyst Bill Polian will call the early game, with Adam Amin, analyst Mark Schlereth and reporter Ian Fitzsimmons describing the action in the second game.
