College GameDay Heads to Boston College For First Time Since 2009 Ahead of Pivotal ACC Matchup

• GameDay Celebrates 25^th Anniversary of First Road Show

There’s nothing better than New England in the fall. With leaves and ACC football in the air, College GameDay Built by the Home Depot will travel to Boston College ahead of the ABC Saturday Night Football matchup between No. 17 Boston College and No. 2 Clemson. For its first visit since 2009, GameDay will originate from Stokes Lawn on BC’s campus on Saturday, Nov. 10 (9 a.m. – noon ET), live on ESPN and simulcast on ESPNU.

Live programming, including SportsCenter and College Football Live, will occur throughout the day on Friday, Nov. 9, and leading into the show on Saturday morning.

Host Rece Davis, who is joined by Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, David Pollack and Maria Taylor, as well as contributors Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica, Jen Lada, Tom Rinaldi and Gene Wojciechowski.

ABC’s Saturday Night Football features undefeated No. 2 Clemson on the road at No. 17 Boston College (8 p.m.) in a pivotal ACC Atlantic Division matchup. The Eagles hold a 4-1 conference record, second best in the division to the Tigers. Clemson, while still looking to clinch the division title, has its sights set beyond an ACC Championship appearance, looking to stay on path for a fourth consecutive CFP berth. Chris Fowler, Herbstreit and Taylor will be at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Mass., for the call of the game.

Coach Corso will make headgear selection No. 322 this weekend in Chestnut Hill. The lovable personality now has a career record of 208-113, including 5-5 record this season.

College GameDay has Outstanding Offseason, Winning Three Sports Emmys
College GameDay continues to be recognized as sports media’s most successful studio show, as the premier pregame show was awarded the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Studio Show Weekly, winning that category for the fifth consecutive year and its eighth time overall in the category. The show’s journalism and operations technical expertise was also recognized, capturing Sports Emmys for Outstanding Short Feature and Outstanding Tech Team Studio. To date, the show has won 10 Emmys in the last 11 years.
