- Monday’s SportsCenter Special on the Class of 2019 kicks off HOF week coverage
- Trey Wingo hosts Enshrinement Ceremony live from Canton, August 3 at 7 p.m. ET
ESPN’s 25th consecutive year of presenting the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement in Canton, Ohio will kick off Monday, July 29, with a SportsCenter Special in prime time honoring the Class of 2019 and will culminate with live coverage of the induction ceremony honoring the eight-member class on Saturday, Aug. 3. ESPN.com will also offer expansive coverage of the annual celebration of football.
On Monday, SportsCenter Special: Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2019 (8 p.m. ET, ESPN2) will highlight the achievements of this year’s inductees – Champ Bailey, Pat Bowlen, Gil Brandt, Tony Gonzalez, Ty Law, Kevin Mawae, Ed Reed and Johnny Robinson. Wendi Nix will host the 30-minute show with Keyshawn Johnson, Louis Riddick and Adam Schefter. Throughout the week, NFL Live (1:30 p.m. ET) will also discuss and highlight the career achievements of the inductees.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, ESPN will televise the Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony live from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton at 7 p.m. ET. ESPN Radio and NFL host Trey Wingo will lead ESPN’s coverage for the 16th year, joined by senior NFL Insider and 2016 Dick McCann Award winner Chris Mortensen and NFL analyst Jeff Saturday. Correspondent Michele Steele will contribute to SportsCenter coverage throughout the weekend.
Additionally, ESPN’s Chris Berman, the 2010 Pete Rozelle Award winner, will serve as the Hall of Fame’s Master of Ceremony for the 20th year.
